Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano was one of the first three wines to be awarded DOCG status when the category was introduced in 1980. Made from a minimum of 70% Prugnolo Gentile, the local name for Sangiovese, it is aged for a minimum of two years of which at least one must be in a barrel.
