Barbaresco DOCG

If Barolo is the king of Italian wines then Barbaresco is the queen. A DOCG red from Piedmont, it is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. It has to be aged for over two years because of the strength of the tannins and it is generally considered to need a few more years to reach its peak.
