Often described as one of Italy’s greatest wines, Barolo is a DOCG red from Piedmont. It is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes and aged for 38 months of which at least 18 must be in wooden barrels. Harvested generally late in October, these wines are full-bodied and rich in acidity and tannins.
