Nizza DOCG

The Nizza DOCG from Piedmont became a separate appellation in 2014. Prior to 2014 it was a sub zone of the Barbera d’Asti DOCG. Production is focussed around the town of Nizza Monferrato. This DOCG wine is ruby red in colour with a bouquet of red fruits, chocolate, and coffee. On the palate it is dry and full of character.
