Frappato Grape Variety

Frappato is a grape variety which is light-bodied, low in tannins, and light-coloured. It has a bouquet and flavours of violets, herbs, and strawberries. It is grown in Sicily and Puglia. It is commonly used in Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Sicily’s only DOCG wine.
