Coda di Volpe Grape Variety

Coda di Volpe, or Wolf’s Tail, is a white grape variety. The grapes are small and have a thick skin. It is best known for its use in wines from the slopes of Mount Vesuvius although it can be found elsewhere in Campania. The bouquet and flavours when young are those of honey, papaya, pineapple, pears, and apple.
