Charmat Method

The Charmat Method is a technique for making sparkling wine. This technique traps bubbles in the wine via carbonation in large steel tanks. This technique is also called Metodo Italiano, or the Marinotti method. The traditional method is known as the Champagne Method or Metodo Classico.
